Go green with goats April 20, 2010

Posted by ibradsiblog in Uncategorized.

This Thursday is Earth day, Earth day which was started in 1970 was designed to raise appreciation of the Earths environment. Most of the time people suggest to turn off items when not in use, flip off the light switch when not in a room, and to use reusable water bottle instead of plastic. Google does something different for Earth Day, instead of turning of lights they turn off the mowers. They get more then 200 goats to come in and cut the grass in the fields around the Google offices: http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2010/04/goats-are-baaaahk.html

Uh, wow, that’s…interesting… Of course, transporting the goats was probably done in some kind of truck thing, so that used gas and polluted the air, so really, they still caused some pollution there. But hey, maybe cars don’t cause as much pollution as lawn mowers. Don’t know, don’t care much. But really, that’s odd. LOL: “fertilize while grazing”. hahaha

That’s very interesting… I guess my family is green because we use goats. LoL. Just not for everything. We could have loaned them some goats… 😉
